You Are Tea-rrific!

The March Stamp of the Month from CTMH is SOOOO cute.  While the sentiments in the set are tea-related, it would be so easy to switch this out to be a coffee themed card as well!  I used the Freshly Made Sketch for this week as the basis of the design.  The new Adventure Fundamental Papers from CTMH offer several designs for all of the ten colors in the Adventure color family - so I used the two designs for the Blossom color.  In order to coordinate the colors on the cups to the paper, I used the ink pads for Blossom, Sea Glass, and Canary to watercolor the cups.  I added accent colors with the ShinHan Markers - Carmine and Turquoise Blue.

BECOME A CLOSE TO MY HEART CONSULTANT

 

Tomorrow – February 4 – I will celebrate 6 years as a consultant with Close to My Heart.  This amazing paper crafting company has so much to offer.  I am so glad that I took the plunge and joined up.  Through the classes I teach (using CTMH products) I have connected with so many wonderful people that I now call friends.

SPRINKLES ON TOP

I love the play on words with the belated birthday greeting on the top card.  This Sugar Rush paper and the accompanying stamp/die set are so cute!  These products are all from Close to My Heart.  While the set has a "sprinkle" stamp with it, I found a die that cut those tiny little sprinkles from Taylored Expressions and added them on top of the one of the donuts.  A little patience is required to adhere those tiny pieces to the top of the glittery frosting.  But well worth the effort.

A FOXY CARD

I just love this cute little fox.  Her eyes are closed, showing those beautiful lashes, and that coordinates with the eyelash paper!  The paper is the new "Some Kinda Wonderful" from CTMH, and the little fox is in the "Some Kinda Wonderful Cardmaking Bundle".  The bundle includes the stamp set (this fox along with a turtle and quail) as well as the thin cut dies to cut them out!  It couldn't be easier to get the image ready for the card.

Speaking of the image, I decided to use my Prismacolor pencils with odorless mineral spirits to color this little fox.  So I decided to enter this in the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge this week - Make Your Mark.  Be sure to pop over there to check out the other entries. 

In addition, I used Raspberry and Black ink on the card, and added the strip of black shimmer trim.  The design of the card actually came from a Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge over a week ago, but I didn't get it done in time to enter it over there.
